# How to Make It:
01 - Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - Melt butter in a large ovenproof skillet or baking dish over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar and maple syrup until sugar dissolves and mixture bubbles, about 2 minutes.
03 - Add sliced pears to the skillet, sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg, and gently toss to coat. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pears soften and caramelize.
04 - Stir in the walnuts and vanilla extract until combined.
05 - Transfer the skillet or pour mixture into a baking dish. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until pears are tender and walnuts are toasted.
06 - Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm, optionally topped with Greek yogurt or vanilla ice cream.
